The tax authorities have fined Barcelona 15.7 million euros!
According to Marca, citing El Confidencial, the Spanish tax service has completed an investigation into possible violations by the club and imposed a financial fine on it.
These violations are related to the transfer of Audi cars to team members, failure to provide information on the payment of charter flights to players and incorrect accounting of compensation received by Arda Turan (€1,312,500) and Alexander Song (€3.5 million) after leaving the club.
The investigation began in 2019. In the case of the cars, tax inspectors tried to check whether it was a form of undeclared remuneration for the players. The same was true for payments for charter flights.
