You may have already heard of her. By the age of 22, the girl had banged up the sixth best 100-meter dash in the history of running. But for the second year in a row, Richardson missed a major tournament

In 2021, the athlete was caught using marijuana. According to the runner, she used the banned substance because of the stress of her mother's death. Then the U.S. anti-doping agency USADA disqualified Richardson for a month, due to which she missed the Olympics in Tokyo

Richardson had every chance to qualify for this year's World Championships. A top-3 finish at the U.S. Championships would have been enough.

In the 100m, she dropped out of the race in the first round with a time of 11.31 seconds. Richardson had one last chance in the 200m. But she lost in the semifinals, finishing only fifth.

After the outing, Kelly was very angry:

"Understand how an athlete feels and then ask questions. Understand that we're human too, not just trying to make something out of the article to make money. Thank you."
