Zaniolo is going to sue Roma
Nicolo Zaniolo and his family accuse Roma of psychological pressure and harassment, and may file a lawsuit.
Zaniolo was asked to leave Roma in January, when his contract had 18 months left.
However, he refused to join Bournemouth, who offered Roma 30 million euros plus bonuses. Numerous reports in Italy claim that he revisited his offer on Monday night, but was turned down because Bournemouth had already signed Hamad Traore from Sassuolo at that time.
Zaniolo has been dropped from the team and is not expected to play for Roma again this season, but according to the player's family, the club is to blame for the situation.
The player's family believes that Roma put pressure on him and pushed him out of the team, causing a backlash that hit the Italian player.
So they have already announced that they want to sue the club.
Zaniolo has not trained with Roma for the past two days, having returned to his hometown after being threatened by angry ultras in the capital on Sunday night.
The 24-year-old agreed not to show up for training on Monday, but the club did not approve his absence the following day.
