Unleash Your Talent at Mark Cuban's Open Call
An Opportunity Like No Other
Are you ready to step into the spotlight and show the world what you’ve got? The Mark Cuban Heroes Basketball Center, known for nurturing North Texan talent, is hosting its highly anticipated Open Model and Talent Call on Saturday, July 12. This event is tailor-made for aspiring models, singers, dancers, and actors aged 16 and up, offering a thrilling opportunity to kickstart their careers. Not just limited to those with experience, this open call welcomes all, providing a free platform to shine and grow.
A Gateway to Success
Launched in 2018, the program has been a game-changer for many. Participants have received unprecedented recognition, like one who managed 37 callbacks in a national modeling expo. Alumni Keva Raiford is now celebrated for her role in the hit TV series “Landman.” This talent call isn’t just an event; it’s a career stepping-stone. According to North Texas e-News, many participants have secured contracts with top agencies, even collaborating with stars like Gwen Stefani.
An Empowering Environment
Trina Terrell-Andrews, CEO of the center, shares, “After the energy and success we saw earlier this year, bringing back the summer call was essential. This is about lifting up our community and helping people see what’s possible.” Whether it’s your first time on stage or a pursuit of passion, this nurturing environment ensures everyone feels welcome.
The Vision of J3 Productions
Hosted by Willie Johnson of J3 Productions, the call seeks to find and polish the “diamond in the rough.” Candidates chosen will engage in 12 weeks of intensive training, receiving professional headshots and guidance as they are introduced to regional and national agencies.
Audition Essentials
Aspiring female models should stand between 5’7” and 6’, and male models between 5’11” and 6’3”. Singers and dancers need to bring music on a flash drive. Performances are concise: 30 seconds for singers and a 45-second routine for dancers. Actors will have a cold read opportunity. All participants must don all-black attire with closed-toe shoes, ready for potential callbacks on Tuesday, July 15.
