The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has named the U20 squad for 2022.

Barcelona have the most representation on the squad, with three of the club's players included - striker Fati, midfielders Pedri and Gavi.

IIFHS U20 Player of the Year list:

Goalkeeper: Gavin Bazounou (Ireland, Southampton)

Defenders: Nuno Mendes (Portugal, PSG), Josco Guardiola (Croatia, RB Leipzig), Piero Incapye (Ecuador, Bayer).

Midfielders: Eduardo Camavinga (France, Real Madrid), Gavi (Spain, Barcelona), Jude Bellingham (England, Borussia D), Pedri (Spain, Barcelona).

Forwards: Karim Adeyemi (Germany, Borussia D), Jamal Musiala (Germany, Bayern), Ansu Fathy (Spain, Barcelona).
