The great curling coach Olga Andrianova died at the age of 71.

This was reported by the Russian Curling Federation. Olga Alexandrovna passed away after a long illness.

For 14 years Andrianova was working as a head coach of Russian curling team. Our girls and boys accomplished a lot of feats with her, including the victory at the European Championships and the fifth place at the Turin Olympics. Our curling made a great step forward thanks to Olga Alexandrovna.

From 2006 to 2010 Olga Andrianova was Head of the Curling Federation. Andrianova was Head of the Russian Curling Federation. For many years she represented the organization in the World Federation.
