Runner disqualified for helping his mom

Artur Burtsev was in the lead during the 10-kilometer race. Almost at the finish line, the athlete got sunstroke due to the 40-degree heat and switched to a step. He was even overtaken by his closest pursuer

Medical workers rushed to help the runner and brought him to the end of the track. But at the last moment Burtsev's mother interfered and helped her son to make the last step before the finish line

As a result, Artur got a disqualification along with the silver medal. But Burtsev said straight away that he wasn't angry with his mother.
