Middle Tennessee State University men’s tennis team is primed for an action-packed spring 2026 season, as announced by head coach Jimmy Borendame. The Blue Raiders are set to engage in 22 regular-season competitions, hosting three intense home doubleheaders, and eagerly anticipated Battle in the Boro.

Kicking off the season, MTSU opens with a commanding home doubleheader on January 16, taking on Lipscomb and Tennessee Tech. This promising start is part of a homestand featuring key matchups against Harvard, UAB, and Eastern Kentucky, all before the team ventures to Nashville for a thrilling clash with Vanderbilt.
February’s Highlight: The Battle in the Boro
February promises to be captivating as MTSU hosts their signature event, the Battle in the Boro. Over three consecutive days, the Blue Raiders will face stiff competition from Utah, Old Dominion, and Rice. Such encounters are expected to test their mettle and showcase their preparation and depth.
