Julen Lopetegui Set to Take Over as West Ham Manager, Contract Agreed, Reports Fabrizio Romano
Former Sevilla coach Julen Lopetegui is set to become the new manager of West Ham United, according to renowned sports journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Sources indicate that the Spanish coach will take the reins following the departure of David Moyes, with both parties having agreed to terms on a contract.
Lopetegui has accepted the offer from the London-based club and is ready to proceed with the formalities involved in the transition.
Most recently, Lopetegui managed Wolverhampton Wanderers, a position he left in August of the previous year. His coaching resume also includes stints with Real Madrid, the Spanish national team, FC Porto, and other clubs.
Previously, there were reports that Lopetegui might take the helm at AC Milan or Bayern Munich. However, it appears that West Ham has secured his services for the upcoming seasons.
