Her ability to adapt, defend, and lead was further reflected in the honors she accrued—All-CCC, second-team All-Rowan County, and notably, the Team Above Self Award.

While larger universities beckoned, Livingstone College felt right at home. “I like the coaches and their persistence,” Cherry shares. “Livingstone wanted me the most, and you want to be where you’re really wanted.”
