Intruders stole a tractor and destroyed the lawn at the stadium
The victim of an unusual crime was Plymouth Argyle, England, of the third division.
Unknown people broke into the stadium, broke into the garage, stole the agronomists' tractor, and drove around the field, damaging the surface a lot.
Tire tracks were visible everywhere.
Club bosses were shocked. The turf was at a crucial stage of preparation for next season. Remediation would be very problematic. An expensive restoration would be needed, which would take money away from other "vital" projects.
The club has reported the incident to the police. Management is confident that the intruders knew the area. And also offered a reward for information about the vandals
