Incredible but true: 38-year-old Tiago Silva's leap at the time of his goal against Fulham was 2.74 metres at the top of the head!

He won the head-to-head against Issa Diop, who is 13 centimetres taller than him (1.81 vs 1.94). He probably managed one of the highest jumps in the history of football.

For comparison, the jump of Morocco striker Youssef El Nesiri at the time of the goal against Portugal at the 2022 World Cup was 2.78 metres. And this is considered the second highest recorded jump by a footballer in history. Only Cristiano Ronaldo jumped higher once in a game against Manchester United - 2.93 metres
