Gianni Infantino, President of FIFA, and Nasser Al-Khelaifi, Chairman of the European Clubs Association (ECA), signed an updated Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen the relationship between FIFA and ECA 🤔

The agreement will be valid until 31 December 2030.

According to the agreement, the clubs undertake to adhere to the international match calendar. In addition, the ECA has reaffirmed its support for a new Club World Cup from 2025, which will include 12 European clubs, as well as an annual match between the winner of the UEFA Champions League and the winner of the Intercontinental Play-offs, as well as the Women's Club World Cup
