Court finds PSG guilty of psychological pressure on Ben Arfa
The French midfielder of Tunisian origin belonged to the Parisians from 2016 to 2018.
He was dropped from the team for more than a year after making an offensive remark about the Emir of Qatar, which angered Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
The player wanted to receive compensation in the amount of 7-8 million euros. He claimed that he would have received solid bonuses if he had played. He played 32 games for PSG in all competitions, scoring 4 goals and making 7 assists.
Ben Arfa went to labor court, but the decision was not in his favor.
Now the Paris Court of Appeal has found PSG guilty of psychological pressure and unpaid bills and ordered the club to pay the Frenchman more than 100,000 euros in compensation.
