Vitebsk defender Karolina Romanchuk was considered a promising player, a solid baseball player, had no complaints about her health. Before the guest match with Brest "Dynamo" nothing foretold trouble.

The team arrived, checked into the hotel, but in the evening Karolina suddenly became ill. The soccer player lost consciousness: her heart was beating, there was no breathing. Ambulance was called immediately, but the ambulance drove too long...

After the autopsy they called the cause of death a stroke. But even before that the Vitebsk players had to play a match, which was not postponed. The director of the team, who literally ordered to go on the field, explained: "The team is not going to a wedding", largely contributed to this.

The girls went to the match with a Romanchuk t-shirt and during the minute of silence did not hold back tears. In honor of their deceased friend, they beat their opponents 4-0, but did not celebrate the goals at all in memory of Carolina
